The Finnish Nursing Association is an important force in the Finnish society. The Association is a professional organization for registered nurses, midwives, public health nurses and paramedics. The association’s task is to support the professional identity, expertise and occupational well-being of its members. These represent a wide specturm of caregiving – from nursing in hopsitals and health care centers, to teachers, researchers and managers. The Finnish Nursing Association operates as a collegial network uniting its members into an integrated body of professionals.
