Call for submissions
The NI 2009 Congress provides presentations that contribute to the foundations, understanding, advancement and future of nursing informatics. As the 10th International Congress on Nursing Informatics, NI2009 features presentations which collectively span the full spectrum of research and development, theory and application, and methodology and evaluation in matters pertaining to informatics in nursing and health care.
The Scientific Program Committee has responsibility for the final selection of submissions for all categories of presentations. To facilitate this process, the committee is assisted by an interdisciplinary group of reviewers who evaluate submitted papers and proposals and judge them according to content, originality, relevance, organization and clarity.
The deadline for all types of submissions is September 30, 2008
Acceptance of submissions will be notified to the first author of each submission by December 15, 2008. At least one author from any accepted contribution must register for the Congress by February 28, 2009 otherwise the contribution will be withdrawn from the final program. All submissions must be in English.
In some cases, authors may be asked to make major or minor revisions to their paper, proposal, or abstract, and they must incorporate these changes into the final submission. The final version of all accepted papers and poster abstracts must be accompanied by a contributor’s copyright agreement singed by the first author on behalf of all authors. Authors will receive the contributor’s agreement following the notification of acceptance.
Submission instructions
All submissions must be made through this website using the online submission form between August 1 - September 30, 2008. Final copy of accepted contributions must be submitted before January 31, 2009.
Questions about submissions
The NI2009 Scientific Program Committee has the final authority in all questions regarding selections of papers and other proposals for presentation at the Congress.

The Congress secretariat CONGREX / Blue & White Conferences ni2009@congrex.fi is responsible for proceedings and handling of all submissions and will be able to help with technical questions.
